deminish the content. While this Website is new we have had readers I just wish we had some interaction or comments

The election is over. The country is going in the wrong direction. The economy is already there. If you voted other than democrat you lost. If you voted democrat you won. Feel bad,feel good excellent get over it.

Anyone who is a cspan junkie will tell you that congress is the root of our problems. It started with the three headed republicans. They passed what they wanted to and gave the democrats no say for six years. Then they lost two of their heads and their replacements learned their lesson, both of their leaders said it wouldn’t be like the last six years, and they changed things. They didn’t give the republicans any say. That was different but not what the country had in mind. Just as much was accomplished to really help the country, except a little more help for veterans, and a free be check to make us feel good, unless you were one of those that didn’t get one or a senior citizen that got half? We gave away, At this point, 350 billion dollars when we could have done all of this free. All we had to do was change the bankruptcy law back to you can’t take the primary residence and these companies would be faced with loosing their investment or renegotiating so that they eventually would get paid and at least the asset would have held its value because the house couldn’t be sold for less than the loan value. Housing values wouldn’t have dropped. Even now they would increase for the same reason. But It was election time and the politicians needed a big splash.

I won’t go into the latest auto industry debate but let me say this. Other countries can collaborate on technology between companies we can’t making it more expensive to develop. Each must come up with a different design or pay the other for either the products or the rights. Each have their own patent and that even prevents the other from improving it in some cases. Our college system benefited from the Japanese investing in them to do technology for them, wouldn’t we be doing two jobs for the same dollar if we did the same?

If we don’t all of us start working together and letting others have input and the right to their ideas,morals,religion then we will never get back to where we really want to be. We became great because of the two world wars. We were able to come together and do what was needed as a team. We cared for each other, we all felt needed and wanted. We had a purpose. After 9/11 the same feeling exisited but it was wasted. After Katrina we felt the same but it was wasted. Now once again we are faced with the need to share, burden the pain and suffering. It too will be wasted if we don’t get a little nationalism back.
